JAMIE is a seasoned improviser, visual artist, and educator. He performed with HVI at Stissing Center, Boughton Place, ASK, Pride-Prov and festivals. He is a founding ensemble member of HVI’s immersive cast at the annual Destination Stars Hollow event in Brighton, MI. Past credits include The Sean Cassidy Fan Club, Razor Spirits, and Pork Pie Hat. Jamie trained with HVI and Second City NY. His paintings and sculptures have appeared in numerous films and theatrical productions.
HEATHER is an accomplished writer, performer, and Moth StorySlam Champion. She’s performed at QED Astoria, Stissing Center, The CENTER for Performing Arts, Boughton Place, The Phoenicia Festival for the Arts, and the Catskill Comedy Festival. Her solo-show, A Mother Stands Still was heralded by audiences, local press, theatre directors and recognized by NYFA. She led the dramaturgical studies for Hudson Valley Improv’s immersive performances at Destination Stars Hollow, in Brighton, MI and counts her work with HVI among her most cherished.
LOU is brings his high energy career in athletics to the Touring Company. Years ago, he considered stand-up comedy, but life had other plans—namely, launching a successful DJ and karaoke business with his brother. For the past 25 years, he’s brought the party to weddings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, and late-night sing-alongs across the Hudson Valley. He’s also spent the last three summers as the on-field MC for the Saugerties Stallions, a summer collegiate baseball team featuring players from across the country chasing the next level. Between innings, Lou keeps the crowd hyped, directing fans to games and giveaways with his signature energy.
On the improv front, Lou has performed in several Level Two shows at Boughton Place, joined the HVI House Team in 2024, and most recently performed at ASK in Kingston and the Destination: Stars Hollow festival in Brighton, Michigan.
PATRICK is an experienced improviser, actor, and director. With Hudson Valley Improv, he has performed at Boughton Place, the Art Society of Kingston, and the Stissing Center. Patrick recently developed and directed HVI's Director's Cut show for local venues and comedy festivals. He is a founding ensemble member of HVI’s immersive cast at the annual Destination Stars Hollow event in Brighton, MI.
JEN began her improv journey with Hudson Valley Improv in 2021. She has appeared in numerous shows including performing at the Hartford Improv Festival, the Catskill Comedy Festival, Pride-Prov, and shows at ASK and Boughton Place. Directing Must The Show Go On? at Boughton Place was a highlight. She co-created the improv podcast Monsters Weekly, which can be found on Spotify. In addition to performing, she is a visual artist and teacher who loves living in Kingston with her family.
SUSAN is an improviser, singer, and actor. She has performed with HVI at PrideProv, the Hartford Improv Festival, the Catskills Comedy Festival, The Phoenicia Festival of the Arts, The Stissing Center, and Boughton Place. A founding member of HVI’s immersive cast at Destination Stars Hollow, she has studied with HVI, the Magnet Theater (musical improv!), Scott Adsit, Jaime Moyer, A.J. McCombs, Elana Fishbein, and others.
SAM is a professional actor, director, and master improv teacher with over 30 years of experience in the industry. She is the founder of Hudson Valley Improv, where she created the Improv Empowerment method—an approach rooted in authenticity, personal liberation, and creative risk-taking. Samantha has taught thousands of adults and performed on stages across the country.
Her television credits include FBI: Most Wanted, Law & Order: SVU, Bull, and A Murder at the End of the World. She is also the creator and star of the acclaimed solo show Butterfly Suicide. Samantha is known for helping people break through creative blocks and rediscover their voice—onstage and off.
LIZ spent 18 years in LA as an actor and improviser and currently runs her voiceover company, Elizabeth Saydah Voiceover. When she’s not cutting it up with HVI, she voices video games (Oxenfree 2, The Evil Within 2), and loads of commercial and corporate projects (Google, PayPal, Aetna, Disney). She’s also the station voice for Sirius XM’s Lithium channel (34).
MICHAEL is an actor, director, instructor and founding member of Hudson Valley Improv. Since 2014, he has been a co-creative force behind HVI’s performances across the region and managing the touring company.
Improv appearances include Stissing Center, Art Society of Kingston, Hudson Valley Pride-Prov as well as multiple festivals around the country. As a director, Michael most recently helmed HVI’s original Jaws tribute show, bringing cinematic suspense to the stage with the touring company's signature humor and style. He is co-producer and cast in HVI’s multi-day immersive performance at the annual Destination Stars Hollow festival in Brighton, MI.
