Abbey is in her sophomore year of high school. She first started improv classes when she was 11 years old and loved it. After taking classes and several places over the years she finally discovered HVI and so far it has been her favorite place to act. She loves all of the people there and her teachers Michael and Sam. She’s very happy and excited to be part of the house team “Reverse Tooth-fairy” and can’t wait to see everyone at the next show!
Abby is in 8th grade which makers her our youngest House Team member. Her acting credits include her school productions Xanadu, Seussical and Footloose. She got her start in theatre at four years old where she played a flower in her preschool end of the year production. This summer, Abby began taking classes with Hudson Valley Improv and fell in love with the improvisation. When she’s not acting, Abby loves playing soccer, singing, and hanging with her two dogs, Molly and Auggie.
Max is 15 and joined HVI in 2018. He has filmed, produced and edited two short films. He is a cinephile and loves to talk about movies. Max ran his own summer camp in 2020 and worked with a small camp of 12 year olds where he taught the basics of film making. He is an aspiring photographer, honing his skills through formal teaching, Max has participated in several live improv shows with HVI and is very excited to be part of the teen house team.
Ilana is 15 years old and in her freshman year of high school. She has been doing musical theatre for 8 years, and improv for 3. When she isn’t acting, Ilana enjoys playing tennis, making life sized cardboard cutouts of Timothée Chalamet, and baking. Ilana began taking classes at Hudson Valley Improv over the summer, and is super excited to be joining the house team!
Cricket is 17 years old. She started working in technical theater and stage managing for HVI at 12 years old. She has worked on many different productions as stage-manager, props master, board operator and more. She also wrote and directed a short play for Stagedoor Manor’s Dramafest and multiple commercials for Hudson Valley Improv. She plans on going to college in the fall of 2021 and is interested in studying psychology, education and theater. The idea of a teen house team has excited her for
